Our Approach
KE Corporate Finance stands for focused, independent advisory across the DACH region. We work with a limited number of mandates – giving each one the full attention and expertise that successful transactions demand.
Our deep understanding of the requirements of private equity investors, search funds, and mid-market owners allows us to develop tailored solutions on both sides of the table.
Why KE
M&A transactions are complex and, for most entrepreneurs, a once-in-a-lifetime event. That is precisely where the problem lies – and why KE Corporate Finance is structured differently.
Classic M&A advisors focus on deals where the fee is worth their while. SMEs often fall through the cracks – too little volume, too little margin. The result: the entrepreneur is left without professional support.
Many advisors know the market only from the seller's side. What truly drives a buyer, which risks he sees, why he hesitates or walks away – that remains a blind spot. Transactions then fail not on price, but on a lack of understanding for the other side of the table.
Without solid corporate law knowledge, advisory remains incomplete. Structuring questions, share transfers, liability issues – superficial guidance here risks expensive surprises for the client.
Tax advisors, lawyers, and M&A advisors each do excellent work in their respective fields. Yet this expertise is rarely connected, because each has a different focus. KE Corporate Finance acts as a comprehensive advisor across all areas of a transaction – and brings in the right specialists at the right time.
For brokering companies and financing, we work purely on a success fee basis – no retainer. For sell-side processes and advisory mandates, an expense allowance applies.

Former Investment Director at Ufenau Capital Partners – one of Europe's leading lower-mid-market private equity firms. Now an independent corporate finance advisor: focused on the mid-market, pragmatic in execution, and committed to creating real, lasting value.
What sets me apart
Successful transactions emerge from the interplay of different disciplines. What I bring is the connective tissue that links legal, tax, and strategic perspectives with operational experience – as a complement to, not a replacement for, specialised advisors.
As an active board member, I have not merely accompanied companies but helped shape them strategically: building management teams, establishing holding structures, implementing financial architectures. This operational perspective adds an economic dimension to the work of legal and tax advisors.
113 transactions as buyer, seller, and financing partner. I understand the perspective of all parties involved – investors, entrepreneurs, banks – and can therefore act as a bridge between different interests and guide processes decisively to completion.
As an owner-managed advisory, I work personally on every mandate – without delegation to junior teams. This allows close, trust-based collaboration and a cost structure that makes economic sense even for smaller transactions.
Biography
"I founded KE Corporate Finance to return to what drove me from the start: meeting entrepreneurs as a true peer and creating real, lasting value."
Kevin Elsässer is the founder of KE Corporate Finance and brings 10 years of experience as Investment Director at Ufenau Capital Partners AG, one of Europe's most respected lower-mid-market private equity firms. In this role, he was responsible for the full transaction lifecycle – from target identification and first outreach through due diligence and contract negotiation to transaction financing and post-closing value creation.
🏆 Recognised by Real Deals as a «Future Top 40» in European Private Equity – 2024
His most lasting results came where his involvement was deepest: as an active board member at Altano International and GarLa Gruppe, he had direct co-responsibility for all key decisions – growth strategy, international holding architecture, leadership teams, financing, and M&A programme. Beyond these, he has supported numerous company groups across his career in various capacities, building broad sector expertise in Business Services, Healthcare, Consumer, and Industrial Services.
After 10 years at the institutional level, Kevin Elsässer made this move deliberately: back to what has motivated him from the start – working directly with entrepreneurs in situations where operational experience, financing expertise, and strategic judgement are needed in equal measure. Precisely where the small-cap segment too rarely finds a partner who thinks and contributes as a true peer. KE Corporate Finance sees itself explicitly as part of a network of experienced advisors, lawyers, and financing partners.
